The 16th image of my advent series shows the delight of dressing the tree, something many households only choose to do the day before christmas day in Norway (that being the 23rd). However, break with tradition, and clever marketing is convincing many norwegians to decorate their homes much earlier on in the advent period, perhaps in a desperate attempt to try and whip up some kind of christmas atmosphere. Personally, I love having some decorations and ornaments around the house, the kids love it, and it gives everybody a lift in dark times to see lots of candles flickering. So, if you're a little hesitant, just try a couple of scented candles and a few small decorations, and see the difference it makes...
