Little and Large | Wednesday Feb 06, 2008
This is from the grounding of The Riverdance ferry off the coast of Blackpool. The ferry was shoved innland by two enormous waves last Wednesday night, and ended up stranded on the shoreline near Little Bispham. It would take a high tide of more than 6 metres minimum to see her float again, hopefully that tide will come this Saturday, with a 9 metre tide due. It was such an event people came from far and wide to witness the beaching of the ship, something that doesn't happen everyday....
