A couple of weeks ago there was a pre-World Championship competition in Ski Flying (not jumping this is for the big boys...). The newly constructed 250m Monster Hill at Vikersund was the venue being used, and I was there with my good friend, Kim, his lad Noah. It was a cold affair, I'll tell you and probably the last time I stand for 3 hours in the freezing bloody cold to watch a bunch of blokes chucking themselves of the end of a perfectly good mountain.
