Tho photo you asked about was not staged. It was at a design competition in DC. The have this event every month called x in dc where 3 designers compete for a prize as well as designing the next event flyer. They also have live music, painters and other visual artists at the event. So the belly dancer is just dancing in front of an illustration that was being drawn the entire night. more info on the x in dc can be found at xindc.tv

OK...OK.... so Drewble(link) was right.......... sort of......... he said eventually Id be happily photographing the new shape greener taxis......... not true actually........ not quite happily........... Id rather it was a classic NYC beast cab......
